Shocking crime – robbers wanted to steal vaccines in Budapest?
Hungary struggles with the third wave of the coronavirus epidemic. The death toll has never been so high in the country, and there are more than 1,500 people on ventilators while the number of new infections is around 11-12 thousand each day. Therefore, it is crucial to administer as many vaccines as possible because that is the only way to ease the restrictions curbing the spread of the British virus variant in Hungary. If somebody tries to steal vaccines, it can hinder the vaccination of many people.
The theatre of Erzsébetliget, located in the 16th district, has been functioning as a vaccination centre since March 2021. Unknown robbers broke into the building the previous Saturday night through one of the windows. However, they were not able to take any of the
vaccines stored in the theatre.
Instead, they stole some rubber gloves and syringes used for immunisation, Magyar Nemzet reported on Sunday.
When the robbers broke the window, the alarm system of the building went off. Therefore, they did not have enough time to collect all that they wanted. Furthermore, thanks to the alarm, many local citizens and even the police gathered at the theatre, catching the robbers.

One of the eyewitnesses said that the perpetrators were
probably drug addicts
and that is why they wanted to steal the sterile syringes.
According to the afternoon statement of the police, officers caught two men right on-site while they did so with the third member of the gang later not far from the theatre. The perpetrators stole FFP face masks, rubber gloves, hand sanitisers, protective clothing, and blood pressure monitors, but
they were not able to get access to the vaccines stored in the theatre.
According to Magyar Nemzet, one of the men the police caught was intoxicated.
We reported before about a Hungarian woman who
got eight years in prison because she drugged her dates with a life-threatening cocktail to steal their belongings.
J. V. can be released on conditional parole only after spending 2/3rd of the time in one of the penitentiary institutions.
Based on the report of 24.hu, the woman registered on a dating site under a pseudonym in the fall of 2018 and contacted her three victims. They started to exchange emails and chat messages and agreed to meet, only for the woman to drug them and steal all their valuables. One of the men met her on Margaret Island, the other two in their flat. She offered all of them cocktails in which she poured prescribed pharmaceutical products. As a result, she was able to drug them.
Then, she could search their clothes and steal their valuable belongings. She stole things
worth HUF 157 thousand (EUR 431) from her first date, HUF 536 thousand (EUR 1,472) from her second, and HUF 400 thousand from her third date (EUR 1,100).
Furthermore, all three men were taken to the hospital because of the cocktails. Based on the experts’ assessment, they were in a life-threatening condition because of the medicine she mixed in their drinks.

Such actions exhibited by these thieves would have probably resulted in their execution during the Communist regime.
However, we now live in an ‘enlightened age’ so any punishment should reflect that fact.
I suggest that their ‘nuts’ are (surgically) removed prior to them each receiving a VERY LONG prison sentence, during which time they can all provide a ‘civil service’ to other prisoners because of their newly-acquired (a)sexual status.
