According to 4024.hu, it’s quite shocking that the competent persons managed to come up with a hideous mascot again, after the chicken of Fradi. This time, we can be ashamed because of the “animal” of Aquatic Championship in two year.

Sportsgrid.com also reported on the new horror and also wrote how Budapest got the right to organize. Originally, Budapest would have organized the World Championship in 2021, but Guadalajara eventually withdrew, because their economic situation would not allow organizing the World Championship which would cost about USD 100 million (approx. HUF 23 billion).

So the Hungarian capital quickly struck down. The initial budget was estimated USD 76 million. Then, of course, it has been revealed such an event can’t be conducted, so the budget is USD 140 million currently.
