Within the framework of next year’s European tour, the more than 25-year-old Californian nu-metal band, Korn will come to Hungary! The band will give a concert in Papp László Budapest Sports Arena on 9th June 2020.

Since its start, Korn has sold 40 million albums worldwide, collected two Grammy awards, and entertained the audience within the framework of several world tours.

As the news portal bama.hu reports, KORN changed the world with their debut album Leader. The disc created a new genre, and the band’s great success later confirmed the historical moment.

As the prestigious New York magazine Fader reports –

“There was an unexpected opening in the pop landscape, and Korn articulated a generational coming-of-angst for a claustrophobic, self-surveilled consciousness. “Freak on a Leash” became the soundtrack for a generation’s arrival as a snarling, thrashing, systemically-restrained freak show.”

According to hirado.hu, Jonathan Davis vocalist, James “Munky” Shaffer and Brian “Head” Welch guitarists, Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu bass guitarist, and Ray Luzier drummer will push the limits of alternative rock and metal while influencing masses of fans and numerous artist generations in the world.

Korn was formed in 1993; since now, it has played three times at Sziget Festival – in 2005, 2012 and 2014. In the last 26 years, the band wrote such world-famous songs as Blind, Freak on a Leash or Falling Away from Me. So far, thirteen studio albums have been issued; the latest was published this summer, bearing the title The Nothing.
