Throwback photos showing the drinking habits of Hungarians during Socialism – PHOTO GALLERY
Alfahir.hu invites us all to take part in a journey back to the time of Socialism through taking a look at the drinking habits of Hungarians.
The nostalgia is assured by Fortepan and its photo gallery showing Hungarians while drinking, the interiors and also the exteriors of pubs, and, simply, some beverages. The atmosphere would surely catch anyone watching them: as a youngster you may be amazed by the photos or even surprised how different bottles looked like.
But as an elder one, here’s your chance to reminisce about the good old times or, in case they weren’t that good, just be happy that those days are gone now. Let us all then travel back in time and see what social life and drinking were like under the Socialist regime.
