CNN published a great video about the Hungarian “cowboys” – VIDEO
A special short film about the “Hungarian cowboys” was created by community media users, in collaboration with the Hungarian Tourism Agency, reports turizmusonline.hu. This is the second time the two have paired up.
CNN’s Great Big Story also published this video, and they present the lifestyle of Hungarian “Cowboys” (‘csikós’ in Hungarian), which is unique in the world, their relationship to the animals and the atmosphere at the Great Hungarian Plain. The video was made in professional collaboration with the Hungarian Tourism Agency. This is the second time the US-owned channel has shot a touristic video about Hungary during their stay this year.
The Hungarian traditions are put in a positive light (as they should be), with a quite attractive presentation of how life is at the Great Hungarian Plain. The exotic mood is one-of-a-kind here, nothing compares to it.
The “Cowboys” talk about how important it is to establish a trustful relationship with the horses, and also about the tradition that they represent and protect, which goes back centuries.
The video was viewed 211,000 times in the first 24 hours and got over 51,000 reactions on Facebook, which is an extraordinary achievement. Almost 300 comments were left under the post, with a lot of positive feedback. Most people regarded the presented lifestyle and the Hungarian horses amazing and astonishing.
This Great Big Story was made in partnership with the Hungarian Tourism Agency.
