Autumn heat record broken in Budapest
According to index.hu, the daily heat record was broken in Budapest on Tuesday. The temperature was above 15° Celsius even in the coldest hours. The minimum temperature was 15.2° Celsius on the János Hill at dawn which set a new record in the capital city.
As yet, the highest minimum temperature on the 17th of October was 14.5° Celsius, which was registered in Kamaraerdő in 1953. But this record was broken yesterday.
According to the Hungarian Meteorological Service (OMSZ), the weather is characterised by outstandingly warm air compared to the time of the year.
The good news is that dry, sunny weather is forecasted for the upcoming days as well.
There won’t be any type of precipitation. The air motion stays moderate in the north, while the southwestern wind strengthens in the southern part of the country.
The lowest temperature at night is expected to fall between 3-8° Celsius. The highest daytime temperature will stay in the 20-24°Celsius range.

However, the sky will turn cloudy on Sunday, the cloudage will thicken and rain, downpour might occur in several regions.
The wind will stay moderate in the day, but it might get thundery by the evening. The lowest temperature will be 3-10° Celsius at night, while the highest temperature will be 15-20°Celsius in the day.
