What would you do if you found 46,000 USD on a Hungarian bus?
It is just an ordinary story. Someone forgets about his/her gym bag and accidentally leaves it on the bus. The decent founder passes it on to the bus driver who leaves it at the lost and found of the nearby station. However, this story is a little different.
This story is unique in the sense that, according to feol.hu, a gym bag with an unbelievably large amount of cash inside was left on a bus. The founder was so decent that he gave it to the bus driver without opening it, who did the same by leaving it at the station of Székesfehérvár.
On one of the buses of KNYKK Ltd. (Midwest Hungarian Transport Centre), an average-looking gym bag was found and admitted to the lost and found storage of Székesfehérvár. The owner of the bag notified the traffic service provider about the lost bag and told him about the content of the bag first –
it included 14 million HUF (approximately 46,000 USD) in cash.
The owner of the bag had the price of his real estate that he had just sold before his journey. After the successful business, he was so cheerful that he completely forgot about his bag containing a huge amount of money.
After identifying his bag, he could get it back without a forint missing from it. We do not know any further information about one of the luckiest people in the world after this miraculous adventure, but we cannot be sure that the same would happen again.
