Police in Budapest are urgently searching for 25-year-old Jorgensen Felix Svane, who disappeared after leaving a nightlife venue in the city’s District 7 in the early hours of Thursday, 3 September.

Police issue description of missing man

According to information available to police, the young man left the venue at around 1 AM and went to an unknown location. He has not been heard from since. The case is being investigated by the District 7 Police Department of the Budapest Police Headquarters, which is appealing to the public for any information that could help establish his whereabouts.

Jorgensen Felix Svane is approximately 182 centimetres tall and of average build. He has short, wavy brown hair, blue eyes and a moustache. Police say he has a distinctive identifying feature: a surgical scar on the back of his head.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue T-shirt with yellow writing on the front and the words “SVANE 12” on the back. He was also wearing black trousers and white shoes. Police have released the description in the hope that someone may have seen him after he left the District 7 venue.

Public urged to come forward

The Budapest Police Headquarters is asking anyone who may have information about Svane’s whereabouts to contact the authorities. Even seemingly minor information could potentially help investigators establish where he went after leaving the venue, or determine whether anyone saw him during the early hours of Thursday morning.

Information can be provided anonymously through the Telefontanú hotline, which is available around the clock on 06-80-555-111. Anyone who has information that could require an immediate response can also contact Hungary’s emergency services by calling 112. The police investigation is being conducted under case number 01070-157/246/2026.

Authorities are continuing to search for the missing 25-year-old and are asking members of the public to report any information that may help locate him.
