Audi Hungaria’s 2024 triumph: how the automaker boosted revenue and profit

The company said that the revenue of German-owned car maker Audi Hungaria reached EUR 8.611bn in 2024.

Audi Hungaria ploughed EUR 340m back into its business during the year, to prepare for the start of serial production of the next-generation MEBeco and the successor to the Audi Q3.

Since its establishment in 1993, Audi has invested a combined EUR 12.9bn at its base in Győr (NW Hungary).

Last year, Audi Hungarian turned out 1,580,991 drive trains including 151,899 that were electric. It rolled 179,710 vehicles off the production line, including 99,288 Audi Q3, 63,759 Audi Q3 Sportback and 16,663 CUPRA Terramar models.

Headcount at the company reached 11,431, or 11,930 including staff at the share services business Audi Hungaria Ahead.

Operating profit was up at EUR 368m from EUR 352m in the base period. The statement said after-tax profit fell to EUR 304m from EUR 354m.
