Nothing is more likely to get you in the mood for the festive season than European Christmas markets. According to Big 7 Travel, m any people now choose to make a weekend trip out of visiting European Christmas markets. A quick city break to get some shopping in, have a few drinks and soak up the festive delights.

Most of the markets kicked off in late November, with many running until early January. So it’s time to get planning, grab a few friends and visit one of these super European Christmas markets.

Mulled wine, gifts for loved ones and that wonderful Christmas feeling here we come…

Budapest was listed in the 23rd place in light of the whole world, whereas it came in 11th on the European level.

“The most beautiful Budapest Christmas Market is the Christmas Market on Vörösmarty Square. Feast on typical Hungarian dishes such as sausages and stews, as well as sweet funnel cakes and drinks.

There’s over 100 stalls in the square, with local trinkets, craft workshops, children’s puppet shows and much more to explore. It’s no wonder so many people consider this one of the best European Christmas Markets.”
