Budapest ranked among cities with best taxi services
A vital part of the perfect city break is transport. And when embracing those chilly European Christmas nights, a taxi ride should be as smooth and hassle-free as possible. But which city has the best, or worst, taxi services?
To find out, Taxi2Airport.com has scraped ratings for all listed taxi services per capital city in Europe, using TripAdvisor. The average ratings of each city has also been calculated to reveal the best and worst taxi services across Europe.
With an astounding average of 4.88 out of 5, the best taxi services throughout Europe can be found in Athens. The Greek tourist spot is sure to provide almost flawless taxi services to tourists this winter.
If you want a hassle-free trip around Zagreb, take a taxi! Croatia’s capital claims second place with an equally impressive 4.50 out of 5.
And in third and fourth place are Bern and Budapest, with 4.48 and 4.41 respectively.
Famous for its black cabs, London unfortunately musters a middle-of-the-ground 4.05 out of 5, placing it in 9th.
Flipping the table, in last place is Copenhagen with an average rating of just 2.72 out of 5. The city is synonymous with bicycles (Bycyklen), and so it is perhaps unsurprising. Yet, around Christmas time, low rated taxi services won’t console those wanting to avoid the cold.
In penultimate place is another city famed for its love for cycling. Norway’s capital Oslo achieves a similarly low score of just 3.50 out of 5.
