Debrecen university to start Hungarian-Mongolian dual accreditation course
The University of Debrecen in eastern Hungary signed an agreement on Tuesday with the Mongolian University of Life Sciences to launch a dual accreditation course that will issue both Hungarian and Mongolian degrees, the Hungarian university’s press office said.
The agreement signed during the 5th Agrimba-AVA congress will enable 20 Hungarian MBA students and 20 Mongolian MBA students to obtain two degrees, issued by the University of Debrecen and the Mongolian University in Ulaanbaatar.
András Jávor, chief advisor to the rector in Debrecen, said the degree will enable Mongolian students to provide European answers to questions that arise in Mongolia’s economy. The two universities have maintained links for more than ten years but because of the long distance between them, few students have been able to study in both institutions, he added.
