Hungarian uploading images of violence against Hungarian women arrested in Berlin

Cybercrime experts of the Hungarian and German police have arrested in Berlin a Hungarian man believed to have posted online images showing Hungarian women beheaded or with their throats slit, police.hu reported on Monday.
The pictures with edited content were uploaded on a porn website by a user code-named “archie147” and referred to in a comment on a chat forum in August last year, the Hungarian police said. It said that investigations led to a 39-year-old Hungarian suspect staying in Berlin who was arrested in cooperation with the German partner authority on Feb 6.
In a house search of the suspect’s flat, various technical devices were seized, including PCs. mobile phones, CDs, digital cameras, memory cards and e-books.
The portal said the KR NNI and the German authorities are investigating the case in parallel. Cooperation between the two authorities is continuing to identify further victims and to carry out the necessary investigative actions. In connection with the case, the Criminal Code has been amended to introduce the legal offence of “internet aggression”.
