Hungarian wine bottles decorated with autistic art
The Autistic Art Foundation collaborated with six famous Hungarian wineries to decorate their wine bottles with drawings of autistic youth, szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu reports. By purchasing these beautifully decorated wines, you are helping the Foundation to provide art therapy sessions for autistic people.
Autistic Art Foundation
Autistic Art aims to show how many wonderful, quality art is produced by autistic children. Not to mention how useful art therapy is for these people. Autistic Art is the only foundation that helps to provide contemporary art therapy sessions for people with autism. This is extremely important, because autistic people often think in terms of pictures and 40% of them do not speak at all.
Art is a more than ideal way of self-expression for people with autism.
The art created on these therapy sessions is either auctioned on Autistic Art’s website, or exhibited in galleries. The foundation puts the best works on certain products which can be purchased on Autistic Art’s webshop. You can be sure that your money goes to a good place. Artistic Art helps autistic people in numerous ways.
For more than 10 years, Autistic Art has been helping residential homes in Hungary housing autistic people, notes Viktória Bella, manager of the Autistic Art Foundation. These establishments provide homes for more than 200 people with autism, who are not able to live on their own without help.
Autistic art on wine bottles
Most recently, Artistic Art collaborated with six famous Hungarian wineries: Bolyki, Etyeki Kúria, Gilvesy, Luka, Konyári and Vylyan to put the drawings of autistic youth on their wine bottles.
The six wineries take social responsibilities seriously, and think that these drawings add uniqueness and personality to these wines. According to wine marketing expert, András Nádasi:
“the drawings make the whole wine drinking experience more special and more elevated.”
Anybody can purchase these wines on Autistic Art’s webshop, and thus help many people who just try to live a full life with this disorder.
Thus, if you purchase any kind of product from Autistic Art (let it be a bottle of delicious Hungarian wine), you are not only helping autistic children to have access to art therapy sessions, but you are also helping residential homes.
