Jews, Christians, Muslims hold joint prayer for peace in the Middle East
Budapest (MTI) – People from the Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities held a joint prayer for peace in the Middle East on Sunday, and prayed for the victims of war and terrorism and for those who died because of their faith.
The event organised by the Christian-Jewish Council took place in the Deak Square Evangelical church in Budapest and was attended by Peter Gancs, chairman-bishop of Hungary’s Evangelical church, and high representatives of the Hungarian Catholic, Jewish and Muslim faiths.
