Monumental woodcarving depicting Hungarian history unveiled in Tata

Tata, 2017. március 12. Smídt Róbert szõgyéni szobrász és fafaragómûvész Himnusz címû táblaképének részlete a bemutató napján a tatai városházán 2017. március 12-én. A magyar történelmet megjelenítõ, hat évig készült, tíz négyzetméteres alkotás egy hónapig látható Tatán, majd az országban további 12 helyszínen állítják ki. MTI Fotó: Bodnár Boglárka

Mayor József Michl and the creator of the artwork, Sculptor and Wood Carver Robert Smídt unveil the artwork called Anthem in Tata’s town hall.

The artwork has been completed in six years; it is ten square meters in size; it can be seen in Tata for a month; then, it will travel around the country and will be exhibited in 12 additional locations.
