Police discovered 97 migrants in a Romanian truck
Officers of the riot police stopped a truck and apprehended 97 illegal migrants travelling inside, in Dunaföldvár, in central Hungary, the police said on its website on Wednesday.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against the Romanian truck’s Moldovan driver on suspicion of people smuggling. The migrants, who had no valid travel documents, will be questioned and escorted back to the border, in line with effective regulations.
