Orbán’s Fidesz: ‘Dollar left’ continuously financed from abroad

Hungary’s “dollar left” is receiving ongoing, substantial funding from a network abroad, the communications director of ruling Fidesz told MTI on Saturday.

A report submitted to the national security committee and press reports point to leftist parties receiving funding from multiple sources, aimed to influence Hungarian politics, he said. “Originally, we thought foreign funding of the dollar left was a one-off thing… but dollars keep rolling to the dollar left and dollar media,” he said.

Hollik insisted that the identity of some donors was now known, as was the target of the funding. At the same time, the provenance of much of the money is still unknown, he said. He called on the opposition to “tell us where all that money comes from. Tell us finally if George Soros is at the other end of the money tap!”

Of course it’s Brother Gyorgy. Surely a law can be passed that mandates that no natural or legal entity may donate more than, say, $1,000 per year to any political organization AND that such an entity must be lawfully resident/registered in Hungary. It’s outrageous that multi-billionaires halfway across the world are allowed to effectively buy elections!!!

Ahhh… Soros! Our Politician’s favorite enemy. What would political life be without an Evil Bogeyman?

For whatever reason, I never hear mention of the impact of Mr. Crow, Mr. Koch (of brother Koch fame), Mr. Griffin or the Uhleins.
