A peek into the beauty of the Hungarian grammar vol.2 – PHOTO GALLERY
About half a year ago we published an article about the Daily magyar Facebook page, which posts witty and enjoyable learning cards, memes about the Hungarian language. These posts are the perfect forms of a quick Hungarian lesson, because you can learn about grammar, useful expressions, words and slang in a fun and easy way. As entertaining as we find these posts, they might be scary for a foreigner starting to learn our language. Nevertheless don’t be discouraged, check out these learning cards instead!
“I started the page three years ago when I was studying for my state exam and I needed a little ‘air’. I’ve always been interested in languages and I managed to learn quite a lot about them throughout the years. In the beginning I only compared and analysed them on paper, then on the computer, and finally, on Facebook. This is how my first posts were born. I mostly get positive feedback, and luckily, the page has more and more likes” said Gabriel Ádám, the creator of the page, who works as a graphic designer, and is very fond of languages.

Fascinating, but some of the English is incorrect, e.g. “My pen is at Peter” and “She got the house until 4 o’clock”
… or rather “She got to the house until 4 o’clock” – that only works in the negative.
