Ukraine says Hungary supports the break-up of the Ukrainian nation

Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis claims there is an anti-Putin coalition, but Hungary is not part of it. He believes Kyiv and Ukraine as a whole are very disappointed in their Hungarian neighbour.

Ukraine is disappointed

Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis was interviewed by Slovak SME Svet. He condemned Hungary, saying that Kiev is very discontent with Hungary’s attitude. The main problem is that Hungary is “blocking sanctions against Russia” and “preventing the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Commission.”

Perebynits also criticised the “anti-Ukrainian speeches” being held in Budapest, which sees Russians as friends and neighbours. Logically, he said, Hungary should fear Russia because of the memory of the Soviet Union.

“It is disappointing that Hungary’s position today is that the way to peace is for Ukraine to stop its opposition to Russia. We all know what would happen in that case – Ukraine would cease to exist. We all know that Putin’s goal is the occupation of the whole of Ukraine and the destruction of the Ukrainian nation,” said the deputy foreign minister, adding “This means that Hungary supports the destruction of the Ukrainian nation. I don’t think they should support this attitude. Hungary, which has certain relations with Russia, should call on Moscow to end the aggression and withdraw its troops from Ukraine. Then the war will be over.”

Perebyinis says there can be a compromise with Moscow. “Of course, there is a compromise, namely the withdrawal of the Russian army from Ukraine and compensation for the damage caused by Russia here. We all have to unite and bring the criminals to justice, and that is the compromise. Then we can discuss what form Russia takes,” he said in the interview.

But there is no compromise on Ukraine’s territorial integrity. According to him, the Baltic states have a better understanding of Ukraine’s situation than the Western countries, which are only now beginning to realise the threat posed by Russia, index.hu writes.

According to the Ukrainian deputy foreign minister, the help came too late, as Ukraine had already expressed its concerns before the aggression began. “For example, if Ukraine had received what it is receiving today in March last year, the situation would have been very different. I am convinced that most of the occupied territories would have been liberated”, concluded Perebyinis.

As our Politicians are no doubt aware, Mr. Peskov (Mr. Putin’s press secretary) stated in his regular call with reporters:

“There are certain realities, I mean the new Russian territories, there is the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which cannot be ignored, which the Russian side will never be able to infringe upon. These are very important realities,”

“The Russian Federation also has certain goals, which it is attaining in the course of the special military operation. Of course, given the favorable state of affairs and the appropriate attitude of the Ukrainian regime, this can also be decided at the negotiating table … The main thing is to achieve our goals, this is our priority for sure,”

Hungary’s calls “for peace” since the start of the conflict pretty much appear to echo Mr. Peskov’s position (for the Common Good, of course)

No mention of what lead up to the conflict and now installed leader that is a joke.
I thought they ended the corruption after they ousted the twice elected leader, only to be more corrupt.
Russia today is not the USSR and became a capitalist country, just like Hungary and has freedom of religion and 2/3 of its people support. Putin is a tough SOB but has internal and external forces working against the country. The US goverment is 100 times more powerful and blame Russia for everything from getting trump elected to trying to coverup the corrupt Biden Family- 17 intelligence agencies insisted it was Russia disinformation and went on for years with the help of a lying corrupt media 7 years of nonstop lieing by highest officials in the country. Any moron would know it would be impossible to fake 9 years of communication to and from of any one. These are same people who impeached the president twice and nonstop investigations- the fall the US is a grave danger to the western world.

Give the territory taken from each country back to them. The experiment of Ukraine (the border) is over. The people of those countries were given like slaves to Ukraine. Let Russia finish de-nazification of Ukraine.
