VIDEO: German arms trafficker arrested in Budapest

A 25-year-old German national wanted for illegal trafficking of guns, ammunition and explosives, as well as for anti-Semitic crimes committed in Germany, has been detained in Budapest, the investigative office of the rapid-response police (KR NNI) said on police.hu on Friday.
The German police contacted Hungarian authorities on the suspicion that the man may be hiding in Hungary, the statement said. KR NNI uncovered his suspected hiding place, determined that he may have been travelling on a train from Szolnok to Budapest, and the counter-terrorism unit arrested him in Nyugati railway station on May 12, the statement said.
He was placed in detention at the 6th district police station and awaits a decision on his extradition to Germany, police.hu said.
