According to the Hungary‑based low‑cost airline, the decisions on restarting these flights were made following a review of EASA’s recommendations for conflict zones, as well as its own operational and safety measures.

The airline added that it would continue to monitor flight operations and the security situation on an ongoing basis.

In the winter schedule, Wizz Air will re‑establish connections to Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, with 12 routes and 49 flights per week.
