WW2 bomb discovered near Liszt Ferenc international airport, road approaches closed off
Budapest, May 23 (MTI) – A second world war bomb has been discovered near Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc international airport, and all road approaches have been closed off, a bomb disposal spokesman of the defence ministry said on Tuesday.
The bomb was uncovered during construction work near the old aeroplane exhibition park. A 200 metre exclusion zone has been established around the site.
Last week, two WW2 bombs were also discovered nearby.
