Beware of necklace thieves in Budapest! – VIDEO
The public prosecutor of the 2nd and 3rd districts in Budapest raised charges against a 28-year-old man. He attacked two women in August to rob their golden necklaces. He pushed his older victim with such brute force that she fell, hit her head and became unconscious.
According to 24.hu, the perpetrator was released from a Budapest prison in February. He was there for five years, but the news portal did not tell why. Between February and August, he committed no crimes. In August, he attacked a woman to steal her golden necklace. After observing the valuable jewel and the woman wearing it from a distance, he stepped over to her and tried to grab the necklace. However,
he could not do so at first,
so he repeated the action. The loot was worth HUF 40 thousand (EUR 108), with which he ran away.
Later that day, he attacked an older woman in a 2nd district flat in Budapest.
The 82-year-old lady
was preparing to step out of the elevator when he grabbed her two necklaces. He pulled them, so they broke.
Afterwards, he pushed his victim from the back with a force that
the woman fell and lost consciousness.
Instead of helping her, the man escaped immediately with his plunder worth HUF 70 thousand (EUR 190).
The public prosecutor asked for a prison sentence. They also want the court to exclude parole in his case.
