Budapest, August 31 (MTI) – The Budapest city assembly approved on Wednesday a deal with Vientiane, the capital of Laos, to develop cooperation in the areas of city management, water management, public transport development, waste management and culture and tourism.

In line with the agreement, experts from the two capital cities will exchange know-how and their experiences in city management and the operation of public utilities, with special regard to public transport, infrastructure, city development, sewage management, water supplies and waste management. The parties agreed to work together in culture and tourism, and to deepen ties in the economy and trade.
