Hungarian socialists: Reinstate fired teachers!

Budapest Hungarian government Hungary Socialists Teachers protesting against the school system

The opposition Socialists on Sunday called for reinstating teachers fired from their job, and asked the government to establish the conditions of free education and create a budget allocation for teacher wage hikes.

In reaction to the termination of the employment of eight teachers in three secondary schools in Budapest as of 1 December on the ground of dereliction of duty, party co-leader Ágnes Kunhalmi told an online press conference that some of the best teachers had been fired from the best secondary schools.

The firing of teachers demonstrated that “the authoritarian regime built by [ruling] Fidesz in the past 13 years reached a new level” and “practically, steps are being taken towards a dictatorship”, she said. Fidesz wants to show that “anybody daring to express dissatisfaction with NER [System of National Cooperation] will fare ill”, she added.

The interior ministry, which is in charge of public education, said on Wednesday that the teachers had taken unlawful strike action and participated in a demonstration. They had been previously informed by their employers, the school district directorate, that they would be relieved of their positions if they unlawfully neglected their teaching duties for any reason, the ministry said in a statement.

I don’t like how the maffia of taxi drivers always get what they want because they can basically stop the city traffic with their cars but the teachers can’t get anything they want because they are extremely peaceful in their protests. The protests should be more aggressive. I would suggest all the teachers and students clogging Budapest with their own cars using a distinctive on the roof of each car. The same as if they were taxi drivers. Remeber that taxi maffia got away with their claims every single time. Therefore, use private cars to do the same as the taxi drivers and you will succeed.

Applaud their support for these Educators – and “input” to move Education / Educators wages and “other” forward. The acknowledgement referenced in this article of Hungary in a DICTATORSHIP mold – correct.
Hungarians – if they take the time in growing millions the word usage of DERILICTION – in this case part of reason(s) why (8) eight educators dismissed – NEVER Hungary make your own lists -you have enough FACTS – the HUMONGOUS perpetrators of DERILICTION of Duties – public duties and serving the people which are responsibilities of politicians & Governments – have been and continue to be – the Fidesz led Political Party – led by the present Prime Minister of the Government of Hungary – Victor Orban.
Dereliction of Duties – write a book on this subject what has factually over nearing 13 years in POWER – this present Government have NEGLECTED in their Public Duties.
