SHOCKING VIDEO: Police officers pull back young suicidal woman on Budapest bridge
A passer-by and Budapest police officers pulled back a traumatised young girl from the Margaret Bridge in Budapest yesterday evening. She wanted to commit suicide by jumping into her death from the overpass. Below you may check out our video and read the details about what happened.
The recording was made by a body camera attached to the suit of an officer helping around. Police.hu said their officers received notice of a woman standing on the bridge at 9.30 pm. By the time they arrived, the girl had been standing on the outer rim of the overpass, police.hu wrote.
Officers arrived just minutes from the nearby 8th and 13th districts. Meanwhile, members of the river patrol monitored the events from below. One of the officers dragged the girl’s hand to prevent her from losing balance. His partner held him by his belt. A third officer grabbed hold of the other hand of the girl by climbing on the bridge’s stone pylon while his partner held the girl’s leg. A civilian helped the operation. He climbed next to the girl before the police arrived.

Finally, they pulled the traumatised 19-year-old girl back to the bridge, and the ambulance took her to the hospital. Police said nothing about why the girl wanted to commit suicide at such a young age.
As you can see, there is an age gate in the following video, so it is not displayed on our website. Of course, you can check it out by clicking on the “Megtekintés a YouTube-on” (Watch on YouTube) link.
