The tragic incident happened at a ten-storey block of flats on Szamos Street. Police officers and emergency services were called to the scene following a report from a member of the public.

According to the Csongrád-Csanád County Police Headquarters, the boy fell from an upstairs window under circumstances that have not yet been established. Attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful and he died at the scene. Police are investigating the circumstances of the death with the involvement of experts.

Seven-year-old boy reportedly the victim

Local media have reported that the victim was a seven-year-old boy who lived with autism. According to information reported by Délmagyar and RTL, the child was at home with his mother and younger sister at the time of the tragedy.

The precise circumstances leading up to the fall have not been officially established, and authorities have not publicly confirmed all of the details reported by local media.
