If you are a regular reader, you probably know that we love Lake Balaton and all of its beauties. It is a great place to visit in winter, spring, summer or autumn because it always shows a different face. Now, we would like to present a movie, which gives us an insight into the “wildest” side of the lake.
According to index.hu, Szabolcs Mosonyi and Erika Bagladi spent 150 days in three years shooting at the most diverse landscapes of Lake Balaton in order to present flora and fauna in a way only a few people get to see it.
The result of the persistent shooting is the movie titled Wild Balaton, which will premiere on the Duna TV channel on the 1st of April. Do not worry if you cannot catch it on the television because a more extended, 4K version will air in cinemas on the 19th of April.
The creators already shared a promising trailer last year, but the new one is even better.
“Three years, 150 days of shooting and the four seasons at Lake Balaton. Leaving the usual paths, we shot in swamps, hillsides, water, caves so that we can present Balaton and its vicinity from a completely new perspective.
We invite you on a journey, where geology meets wild life and the past meets the present.
The remains of hundreds of millions of years open up in front of our eyes. It is one of the most diverse landscape of the world and one of the most beautiful natural wonder of Hungary” write the creators on their Facebook page.
