Hungarian cuisine: tutajos keménylebbencs, a pasta stew
This is a traditional Hungarian dish that is based on a stew recipe, from facebook.com.

Ingredients:
5-10 dkg smoked bacon
50 dkg lebbencs pasta (traditional Hungarian pasta, where the dough is rolled out, left to dry out and then broken into flat pieces)
1 teaspoon of caraway seeds
1 onion
1 tablespoon of paprika
15 dkg smoked sausage or hot dog
30-40 dkg potatoes
Salt
1 pepper
1 tomatoe
Condiment mix
Hot pepper
Instructions:
- cut the bacon into little pieces, heat it up in a pot and toss in the caraway seeds for a few seconds. Add the pasta and fry them for about 10 minutes
- Chop the onion into small pieces, add it to the pasta. After a few minutes take the pot off the stove and add paprika
- Add enough water to completely cover everything in the pot, add salt and condiments, potatoes, pepper, hot pepper and tomato. Let it simmer.
- 3-5 minutes before it is done, add the sausage or hot dog (you could also leave this step out)

This dish needs to have a lot of sauce, so add more water to it during cooking if there is not enough.
A traditional Hungarian dish like this is usually eaten with a spoon.
