Woman wanted for brutal murder in Germany arrested in Hungary – VIDEO

A 21-year-old woman was wanted in Germany for murder, and the police finally arrested her in Jászalsószentgyörgy, Hungary, the National Investigation Bureau of the Emergency Police announced on Monday on the police.hu website.

According to the statement, based on information provided by the German side, a 21-year-old Hungarian woman wanted on a European arrest warrant is suspected of a murder committed in the province of Thuringia a week ago.

They explained that the body of a 64-year-old Hungarian citizen living in Germany was found by the authorities in the town of Sonneberg on 28 May.

The circumstances clearly indicated that his death was caused by someone else’s hand; there were stab wounds on his back and neck, while investigators found a bloody kitchen knife in the sink.

Based on the data of the German police, there was a strong suspicion that the perpetrator was a 21-year-old Hungarian citizen who may have fled to Hungary after the act.

Following information from the foreign partner authority, the KR NNI bounty hunters immediately began investigating the whereabouts of the wanted person, and within a few hours, they discovered that the fugitive was presumably hiding in Jászalsószentgyörgy.

The woman was finally arrested on 29 May in the village in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County, and the investigators brought her to the Jászberény Police Station.

The court will soon decide on the woman’s extradition to the German authorities, the statement says.
